As I haven't been out on the water since the 14th December due to a spell of cold weather I was keen to get at least one session in January! It was still only 8 degrees but the early rain cleared and we had a nice sunny day, arriving at Levington Marina around 10.30 our parking area was free of obstructions so I could back right up to the launch spot. I was first to arrive but was joined on the water later by 4 wingers and a para wing! There was loads of water to launch and there looked like enough wind for my 6.5! I was on the water ages before the wingers doing diagonal runs in front of the marina slowly making my way to the corner where the wind looked stronger! The wind was very up and down with long non-flying spells but when up it was pleasant enough:) I was out well over two hours and the wind did improve slightly with only my feet getting cold, I did go in late in the session which definitely mind up my mind to call it a day. It nice to be back on the water especially with the sun out and loads of birds flying overhead, I had a quick shower and headed for home leaving enough time to meet up with Mag at Mary’s for a cuppa:)

PS – After last night amazing display from the Aurora where you could see the green from our back bedroom window and I got a pic on BBC’s look East and online as well!
